Episode #31: How To Stop Comparing Yourself (And Finally Feel Content)

by Heather Moulder | Life & Law Podcast

As Theodore Roosevelt once said “Comparison is the thief of joy.” Which is why it’s important to learn how to stop comparing yourself, your efforts and your results to others.

Comparison in and of itself isn’t exactly wrong. There’s some use for it (which is why your brain so naturally goes there).

The problem is when you compare yourself to the point where you think less of yourself.

You might wonder why you do this. Especially since you’re so successful (at least by society’s standards).

The truth is that this is common – especially among high achievers. The good news is that you can retrain your mind to stop doing it (at least, in a negative way).

Join me for an informative episode around how to stop comparing yourself to others. So that you can finally feel content (dare I say, happy?) with yourself and your results.

How To Stop Comparing Yourself (What’s Covered):

  • Why you compare things (there’s actually a practical reason for it).
  • The good and bad of comparison.
  • 5 practical tools for how to stop comparing yourself, your efforts and your results to others.
